Terms of service
Last updated 5 October 2026. These terms are a working draft published ahead of release. They will be reviewed by counsel and finalised before any product goes on sale; reservations made before then are not binding on either side.
1. The service
Astra Gaming ("we") provides software as hosted services ("the Services"): AstraForum and AstraDocs through this site, and others listed on it. AstraGit and PageLens are provided on their own sites under their own terms.
2. Hosted only
The Services are provided for use over the internet from infrastructure we operate. No licence is granted to obtain, install, copy, host or operate the underlying software, in source or compiled form, on any other infrastructure. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, extract or redistribute the software, or offer it to third parties as a service. A self-hosting licence may be granted only in writing by the owner of Astra Gaming and is governed by its own terms. See the hosted-only licence.
Documentation sites generated for you by AstraDocs are your output. You may download and host them anywhere. They include a viewer that remains our property and may be used only to display that documentation.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials and API tokens secret. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
4. Reservations, orders and payment
- Before a product is released, you can reserve a configuration. A reservation is free, is not an order, and can be withdrawn by you or by us.
- Prices are in Indian rupees, and the price shown is the price paid: no tax is added. Subscriptions are paid in advance, monthly or annually, from a prepaid balance.
- AstraDocs runs are paid from a prepaid balance. A run that fails for any reason within our control is refunded to that balance in full.
- Components can be added or removed at any time. Charges for a removed component stop with the next billing period.
- We may change prices with 30 days' notice. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
5. Your content
You keep all rights in the content you and your community put into the Services and in the source code you submit for documentation. You grant us the permissions needed to host, process, back up and display it in order to provide the Services, and nothing more.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Services to break the law, distribute malware, send unsolicited bulk email, infringe others' rights, or attack or overload our systems or anyone else's. We may suspend a site or run that does, and will tell you why.
7. Fair use of shared resources
Each plan carries the limits published on the pricing page. Forums on the Starter plan are paused when idle and resume on the next visit. AI features have published monthly allowances and may be queued at busy times.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the console. A cancelled forum is switched off immediately and its data is kept for 14 days, after which it is deleted. Documentation sites are removed 30 days after their hosting lapses. You can export your content before cancelling.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the Services available and your data safe, and we back up customer data on the schedule published for each plan. The Services are otherwise provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service concerned in the three months before the claim arose.
10. Changes and contact
We will post changes to these terms here and tell account holders by email before they take effect. Questions go through the contact form.
